Moradabad DM Manvendra Singh gave instructions to suspend the JE and terminate the service of the technical assistant after dirty water was found in the tank of the cow shed located at Akka Pandey Bhojpur. The allegation was that the JE had not made a hole in the water tank to drain the water.
Due to this reason dirty water was accumulating. DM Manvendra Singh suddenly reached Akkapande Bhojpur of Mundapande block on Monday afternoon to inspect the cow shed.
He noticed that no hole had been made in the tank of the cow shed to drain the water. Dirty water was accumulating instead of draining out. The tank was built contrary to standard.
Taking this disturbance seriously, the DM directed to suspend the JE of RED with immediate effect. He instructed subordinate officers to send papers for termination of the service of the technical assistant.
DM held a meeting with nodal officers and village heads for better operation of cow shelters. He instructed the nodal officers to improve all the arrangements of the cow sheds in two days.
If any village head is not interested in the cowshed, his name will have to be given. In this matter, a committee will be formed to investigate the development works. Help of village heads will have to be taken in collecting free straw for the cows.
The Chief Veterinary Officer will give weekly reports of the inspections conducted by the nodal officers. Adequate arrangements for green fodder, salt, mineral powder, drinking water, straw etc. will have to be ensured for the cows in all the cowsheds.
